Excel in the Grace of Giving

It is truly a blessing to have an opportunity to give anything in these hard economic times. But those who can should try to excel as much as they can. To me it's so painful to see and hear how many families are trying to survive. The dictionary tells us that to give is to make a gift, to accord, to provide with, supply with, and favor with. The dictionary also tells us that grace means to endowment, holiness, devoutness, love, charity and mercifulness.

I pray and hope that we all meet the characterization and meaning of these words. The Bible shows many stories about giving. Lets make sure we all follow these examples. The Lord has bless us all in many ways. In the Book of 1Corinthians it tells us about Spiritual Gift. It says I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way-in all your speaking and in all your knowledge-because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his son Jesus Christ Our Lord, "is faithful."

Sometimes I wonder, what would it be like if no one ever gave. Would there be food shelter, shelter for homeless people, clothing shelter. I wonder what would people do. The best choice is to help others. If not it would only sit and collect dust. Furthermore, what is the purpose of holding on to it all. Paul tells us in the Book of 2Corinthians 8:7 But just as you excel in everything-in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us-see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

So in the spirit of giving, there must be mercy devoutness, and love. For God have shown us mercy everyday. Let us past this mercy on and show others His Great love for us. Let's us show it everyday of our lives and in every way. In the same book 2Corinthians look in the 10th chapter 8 verses. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in everyway so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confessions of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

What a powerful and mighty King that we have. This holds his word true, we are bless with the entire Spiritual Blessing. One must confess that the gift of giving is holiness, grace, obedience to God. Above all Jesus tells us to love. So let's show our love to one another in excelling in the gift of giving this year. And I pray that many hearts and prayers go out to all who gives.

Always Remember To Read Your Bible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love Always
